Something is broken. How do I report it?
Updated August 6, 2026
Open the More menu in the sidebar, choose Report a bug, then tell us what you did, what happened instead, and the address of the page it happened on.
Where to send it
Open the bug report form from any of these:
- In the sidebar, open More and choose Report a bug.
- On a computer, rest your pointer on your profile picture in the top right, then choose Report a Bug.
- In the mobile app, open Settings and find Report a bug under Support.
- Most error messages on screen have their own Report bug button.
The website form already carries your email address, the page you were on, your browser and your plan. The mobile app link attaches none of that, so write those details yourself.
What to put in the report
We cannot see your screen. Write the report in this order:
- What you were doing, step by step.
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- The full page address, copied from your address bar.
- Your browser and device, for example Chrome on a Windows laptop, or Safari on an iPhone.
- The Error ID, if a screen showed you one.
- Whether it happens every time, or happened once and stopped.
If the page crashed
A crash screen is headed Something went wrong. It has a Try again or Reload page button, and a bug report form under Help us fix this. Use that form: it sends the crash details, including the Error ID when the screen shows one.
When to message support instead
The bug form is for things that do not work: a page that will not load, a button that does nothing, a video that will not play.
Some problems need a person to look at your account. Use the Contact support button at the bottom of this page for:
- Paying and not getting access.
- Changing the email address on your account.
- A question about a charge.
A wrong answer, typo or broken diagram in a question or note is a content mistake, not a bug.
