MYP Extended Mathematics is a Mathematics subject in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). It extends work in algebra, functions, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and mathematical modelling, with a focus on deeper reasoning and preparation for more demanding DP mathematics pathways.
Students build skills across MYP mathematics criteria by knowing and applying concepts, investigating patterns, communicating mathematical thinking, and applying mathematics to unfamiliar real-world problems.
