The 2026 Annual State of Learning Survey

Research Release
We asked 364 M26 students from 258 schools what changed while they studied with RevisionDojo. Their answers track predicted grades, exam confidence, and study habits during the May 2026 exam season.
Students compared where they started and ended, giving a direct view of their self-reported progress. Results include 215 complete and 149 partial surveys and are observational.

Predicted grades rose across every IB subject group
Across 1,168 matched subject ratings, predicted grades rose from 4.81 to 5.58 after using RevisionDojo, which is close to one full point. Every group improved, led by sciences with an average gain of 1.01 points.
83.4% of students improved their average predicted subject grade +0.77 points on average
Among students with at least one matched subject rating, 211 of 253 finished with a higher average than they started with.

Their average rose from 2.47 to 4.25, moving into the passing range. Students starting at grades 4 to 5 gained one full point.

2. Coursework progress
Coursework grades improved across IA, EE and TOK
Nearly three in five IA ratings improved, rising to about two in three for EE and nearly three in four for TOK.

Average stress fell from 3.92 to 2.33 on a five-point scale, a 40.4% relative reduction.
