I found a mistake in a question or note. How do I report it?
Updated August 6, 2026
Use Report question in the three dots menu on a question card, but notes, lessons, flashcards and papers have no report button, so message support instead.
Report a question
Sign in first: signed out you get a preview with no buttons. Every question in a subject's Questionbank tab has a three dots button in its header.
- Select the three dots button.
- Choose Report question.
- Pick what is wrong, then add any detail.
- Choose Submit report.
The choices are:
- Incorrect/inaccurate information
- Broken images/diagrams/figures
- Formatting issues
- Does not belong in this topic
- Other (please specify below)
Incorrect/inaccurate information and Does not belong in this topic add a box called What should the correct version be? Fill it in, so whoever fixes it knows what to write. Other makes the description box required. Keep the report under 1,000 characters.
In the mobile app, tap the flag icon in the question header on a questionbank screen.
Coursework exemplars
An exemplar has its own Report button on the Scores tab, next to Overall Score. Sign in first, or it does not appear. The form adds two choices: Inappropriate content, and Disagree with the score for when the marks look wrong.
Open coursework exemplarsNotes, lessons, flashcards and papers
Notes, lessons, flashcards, cheatsheets, past papers and predicted papers have no report button. Use the Contact support button at the bottom of this page. A real person reads it, so include:
- the subject and the topic
- which tab it is on, for example Notes or Flashcards
- the wrong wording, copied and pasted
- what it should say instead, if you know
The thumbs up and down on a cheatsheet only record a rating. They carry no message, so they cannot tell us what the mistake was.
What happens after you report
A question report goes to the team that edits our content. They see it alongside every other report on that question and tick it off once the correction is live.
You get a thank-you message when it sends, then nothing. We do not reply to reports and we cannot tell you when one has been dealt with. If you need an answer, message support instead.
This is for content mistakes. Pages that will not load, buttons that do nothing and videos that will not play are bugs: report those with Report a bug in the More menu.
