IB Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation is a Group 5 subject in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). It explores real-world applications of mathematics, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and data interpretation, with a strong focus on technology use, practical problem-solving, and interpreting mathematical results in context.
The course is available at Standard Level (SL, 150 teaching hours) and Higher Level (HL, 240 teaching hours), with first assessment in 2021.
