How do I find my subject and its resources?
Updated August 6, 2026
Choose My Subjects in the sidebar and pick your subject. That page links every resource we have for it, and opening one brings up a row of tabs to move between them.
Open your subject
- In the sidebar, choose My Subjects.
- Pick a subject from the list. It holds the subjects on your account for the curriculum you are studying.
- If the subject you want is not listed, choose All Subjects to see every subject in that curriculum.
Your home page carries the same list as cards, under My subjects. If you study the IB Diploma Programme, the search box at the top of the page also finds subjects by name, and Ctrl+K opens it (Cmd+K on a Mac).
Open my subjectsWhat is on a subject page
A subject page opens on All Resources: a grid of cards grouped under Practice, Learn, Coursework and Reference, with the full topic list below it. Only the cards that subject actually has are shown, and a few of them lead to tools that sit outside the subject page, such as Exam builder and Grade Boundaries.
Open a card and a row of tabs appears across the top of the page. Use it to move between resources without going back. All Resources is the first tab and returns you to the grid. On a phone the row becomes a dropdown, and in a narrow window the tabs that do not fit move into the three-dot menu at the end of the row. The row appears once you are signed in.
Opening a topic from the topic list gives you the same kind of row for that topic on its own, so you can go straight to the flashcards or the questions for one part of the course.
The tabs differ from subject to subject
The full set of resource tabs is Questionbank, Notes, Lessons, Videos, Flashcards, Cheatsheets, Predicted Papers, Past Papers, Vocabulary, Case Studies, Literary Hub, Coursework Guide, Key Definitions, Essay Marker, Data Booklet and Exercises.
Each one appears only when that subject has content of that kind, so the row is rarely the same on two of your subjects. Where a subject has a full textbook, the Notes tab is named Textbook instead.
Switching between SL and HL
When a subject is on your account and is taught at both levels, the level sits next to the subject title. Choose SL or HL to change it. This does not count towards your three subject changes.
With SL chosen, HL topics in the topic list are greyed out and cannot be opened. Switch to HL to open them.
