How do I change or add my subjects?

Edit your subjects

1. Open Settings, then the Account tab.
2. Go to Subjects and choose Edit subjects.
3. Select a subject to add it. Where a subject is taught at both levels, choose SL or HL.
4. Select a subject you already have to change its level or to choose Remove subject. A subject that has only one level comes off again when you select it a second time.
5. Choose Save.

Your home page has the same editor: look for Change subjects in the My subjects section. If you study the IB Diploma Programme, your selection is checked against the IB group rules, and the editor lists the reason when Save stays off.

You get three subject changes

An account can change its subjects three times in total. Every save that adds or removes a subject counts as one change, no matter how many subjects you edited in it. The subjects you picked when you set up your account do not count.

The editor states the limit while you edit. Once all three changes are used, the subject list is locked and a note says so, but you can still move a subject between SL and HL as often as you need.

If you have used all three

The limit cannot be lifted from inside the app, so this needs a person. Message us with the email address you sign in with, the subjects on your account now and the subjects you need. Use the Contact support button at the bottom of this page.
