How do I read my coursework feedback and marks?

Open the report from the grader page. The Scores tab holds the mark and the feedback for every criterion. The mark is an AI estimate against the rubric, not an official IB grade.
How a report is laid out
Every report you have run is listed on the grader page under Recent Submissions. Open one and it starts on the Scores tab, with your uploaded document shown next to it on wider screens. A full report also has:
- Rubric: the full assessment criteria as a grid, with the band you were placed in highlighted for each strand
- Exemplars: graded coursework similar to yours, for comparison
- Chat: ask Jojo about this report, on Pro
- Plagiarism & AI: the similarity and AI-writing scan
The mark and the criteria
The Scores tab opens with Overall Score: your total marks, such as 21/24, shown with a letter grade where grade boundaries exist for your coursework. Where they do, an IB grade line below it maps that total onto the boundaries of a past exam session, and the information icon next to it names the session used.
Under that comes General feedback on the piece as a whole, then one card per criterion, headed Criteria A, Criteria B and so on. Each card holds:
- the mark for that criterion, out of its maximum
- Criteria Strands, one row per strand with the band you were placed in. Open a row to read the reasoning behind that band
- Criteria Feedback, listing strengths with a tick and weaknesses with a cross
View Full Rubric on a card opens the Rubric tab at that criterion, so you can read the band above yours and see what it asks for. In that grid the band you were given is highlighted, and a Justification button inside it opens the reasoning for that strand.
Comments on your document
Each criterion card has a Comments section holding the notes left on your document for that criterion. Comments tied to no single criterion sit in the General feedback card instead. Every comment is numbered, labelled Strength, Weakness, Suggestion, Question or Comment, and shows the page it points at.
Click a comment to jump to that spot in your document, and click a marked area in the document to jump back to the comment. Tick the box next to a comment once you have dealt with it and it is marked resolved: it greys out but is not deleted, and unticking brings it back.
If you left Delete my file after 48 hours ticked when you uploaded, which is the default, your file is removed 48 hours after you submit it. The document pane then reads File Access Expired and the Chat tab turns off. Your scores, written feedback and comments stay.
What the mark actually is
The mark is produced by AI. It reads your work against the published assessment criteria for your subject and coursework type, picks a band for each strand, and writes the reasoning you see under Justification. Your total is then converted to a letter grade using grade boundaries.
That makes it useful for one thing: showing you which descriptor you have not yet met, so you know what to fix before you hand the work in. Read the strand reasoning and the comments first, and treat the number as a guide to how much work is left.
