What can I do as a teacher?

What you get in every classroom

The tabs across the top of a classroom are your toolkit.

• View Content: the subject library students study from, with practice questions, notes, videos, lessons and flashcards.
• Lessons: builds a slide deck from that library. Add blocks of questions, slides, textbook pages, cheatsheets, videos, flashcards, vocabulary or coursework exemplars. Present puts it full screen for the class.
• Test Builder: makes tests for in-class use.
• IA/EE: holds the Bulk Grader. Upload up to 250 PDFs at once, 25 MB each. Each comes back marked against the rubric you chose. Called PP/CP in an MYP classroom.
• Tools: holds the AI / Plagiarism Scanner, the Study Planner, and the Essay Marker for subjects with marking rubrics.
• Ask AI: opens an AI teaching assistant.

A test, and homework built from questions, downloads as a PDF or a Word file: the questions or the markscheme, with or without answer lines. Other homework, such as a reading or a video, has no download.

What needs a school licence

Anything that reaches a student needs a Classroom Pro licence, the school-wide plan. Without one, a classroom is a private workspace: students cannot open it, and adding them is refused.

A licence turns on:

• Members, to invite students, teachers and admins by email
• Homework, set with a due date and tracked in Gradebook
• assigning a test to students instead of printing it
• publishing a lesson so students can open it
• Content Coverage and per-student insights

Members and Homework are there without a licence, showing sample data behind a card that offers a call with our team. School licences are arranged on a call, not bought at checkout.

Content Coverage is the exception. That tab appears only with a licence, so a missing tab is not a fault.

Where your plan sets the limits

Free includes:

• 3 custom lessons and 3 tests
• 3 coursework grading runs a month; one run is a single batch upload, however many files it holds
• 1,000 words for the AI and plagiarism scanner

At a cap, the app shows what you have used and offers Teacher Pro.

Teacher Pro removes the lesson and test caps, lifts coursework grading far above the free allowance, and gives you 25,000 scanner words a month. It covers up to 6 subjects.

A Classroom Pro licence covers every teacher on it and gives each one a larger grading allowance again.
