How do I delete my RevisionDojo account, and what happens to my data?

Go to Settings → Account → Danger Zone and choose Delete my account. Your sign-in is removed as deletion starts, and your account, billing and study data are deleted in the background. A final cleanup of AI memory data runs after a 24-hour safety window. There is no grace period, and deletion cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open Settings, then the Account tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, to Danger Zone.
- If you have an active plan, cancel it first. Then choose Delete my account and Delete account in the dialog that opens.
There is one confirmation dialog and nothing to type. The moment you confirm, you are signed out and you cannot sign back in.

The app deletes the same account in the same way, with the same result.
- Open the settings menu, then tap Profile under Account.
- Scroll to Danger zone.
- Tap Delete Account, then Delete.
What happens to your data
Confirming removes three things: your sign-in record, so the email address and any Google, Apple or Microsoft login attached to it stop working; your customer record with our payment provider; and your account in our database, together with the study data linked to it. Some of what you made, such as a flashcard deck, stays in our systems with nothing left linking it to you, and you cannot get it back.

Signing up again afterwards
Because deletion is final, we hold the email address for 30 days: during that time it cannot be used to create a new RevisionDojo account, on the website or in the app. After that the address is free again, and signing up gives you a brand new, empty account — none of your old work comes back with it.
If you are on a paid plan
You cannot delete your account while a subscription plan is active. Cancel the plan first, then return here after the plan is no longer active. Subscriptions bought directly from RevisionDojo are non-refundable. If you want to stop paying but keep your work, cancel the plan without deleting the account.
