How do I change the site language?

Open Settings → Language and choose English, Español or Français under Application Language. The interface changes straight away.
Change the interface language
- Open Settings, then the Language tab.
- Under Application Language, open the selector and choose English, Español or Français.
Menus, buttons and other interface text change as soon as you choose. Your choice is saved to your account, so it carries over when you sign in on another browser. If you are not signed in, the same selector sits in the footer of our public pages.

Textbook notes follow your app language when a French or Spanish version of that note exists, and stay in English when it does not. To read notes in a different language from the interface, set Textbook Language on the same settings page.
Text written by people stays in the language it was written in. Exam board questions, mark schemes and anything your teacher wrote in a classroom are not translated when you change the site language.
