Can I share my account with a friend?

One account, one person

A RevisionDojo account belongs to one person. Handing your sign-in to a friend, a sibling or a classmate is against our terms of service, on a free plan and on a paid one.

It also works badly in practice. Your subjects, your progress, your flashcard review queue and your energy all sit on the one account, so two people share one mixed set of everything and neither of you ends up with a record of your own work.

Where you are signed in

Every sign-in is recorded with the device, the city and country it came from, and the time. You can read that record yourself under Privacy & Security in Settings.

Active logins shows the devices that are signed in right now. Recent logins covers the last 90 days.

If someone else has your sign-in and you want the account back to yourself, end the other logins.

1. Open Settings, then Privacy & Security.
2. Under Active logins, choose Sign out next to a device to end that one login. The device you are on is marked Current and has no Sign out of its own.
3. Choose Sign out of all devices to end every login at once, including the one you are reading this on.

If an account looks shared

We run automatic checks for the patterns that sharing produces: one account signed in from two places at the same time, a long list of different devices, or a jump between distant countries faster than a person can travel. Accounts those checks flag are reviewed by our team.

If your account is suspended and you think that is wrong, tell us what happened. The suspension screen has a Get in touch link, and you can also use the Contact support button at the bottom of this page. A real person reads it.

What to do instead

Your friend can make their own free account on their own email address and keep it. The free plan carries a weekly allowance of energy, notes, lessons and flashcard decks, so there is real work they can do without paying anything.

If you want to pay for someone, buy a gift card rather than passing on your sign-in. It is sent by email after checkout, and the person you send it to claims it onto their own account.
