Meaning of IBDP
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is a two-year academic programme for students aged 16 to 19. Offered in thousands of IB schools worldwide, the IBDP is known for its rigor, depth, and global relevance.
Purpose and Global Recognition
The IBDP aims to develop:

- Global awareness
- University readiness
It is widely recognized by universities around the world as a top-tier pre-university qualification.
Structure of the IBDP Programme
Six Subject Groups
Students choose one subject from each of these six groups:
- Studies in Language and Literature (Language A)
- Language Acquisition (Language B)
- Individuals and Societies (History, Geography, etc.)
- Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Mathematics (Math AA or AI)
- The Arts (Visual Arts, Theatre) or another subject from groups 1–5
Three subjects are taken at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL).
