Master morality
In Nietzsche's account, master morality is a value system originating with the strong and noble, in which 'good' means noble, powerful, and life-affirming, and 'bad' simply means common, low, or weak. The noble type creates values spontaneously from a sense of fullness and self-affirmation, without reference to or reaction against others.
Pathos of Distance
In Nietzsche's philosophy, pathos of distance refers to the noble type's profound felt sense of being fundamentally and qualitatively different from those of lower rank. It is not petty arrogance but a deep, creative self-assurance from which the noble type spontaneously generates its own values.
Ressentiment
a French term Nietzsche uses to describe a specific psychological condition of suppressed resentment, envy, and hostility toward those perceived as stronger or more powerful. In his genealogy, ressentiment is the emotional origin of slave morality: the weak invert the values of the strong, redefining their own weakness as virtue and the strength of others as evil.
