What are IB past papers?

IB past papers are exam papers from previous International Baccalaureate examination sessions. They show the format, timing and types of questions used in real IB exams, making them one of the most useful ways to practise before mocks and final assessments.

How should I use IB past papers?

Start with a recent IB past paper and sit it under real exam conditions: use the full time limit and no notes. Mark your attempt, then watch the video solutions for questions you got wrong or answered by guessing. If several mistakes come from one topic, review that topic before attempting another paper.

Where can I get official IB past paper PDFs?

Ask your school, teacher or IB coordinator for licensed copies of official papers and mark schemes. RevisionDojo does not reproduce copyrighted exam papers; this library provides original, question-by-question video walkthroughs to use alongside the paper. The IB also publishes a selection of official sample exam papers.

Which IB past paper timezone should I use?

For revision, you do not need to choose only the timezone associated with your region. TZ1, TZ2, and TZ3 cover the same syllabus at a similar standard, so treat them as separate practice papers. Work backwards from November 2025 and May 2025, which sit closest to the current syllabus.

What is the difference between past papers and predicted papers?

Past papers come from examinations that IB students have already taken. Predicted papers are new practice exams written to reflect the current syllabus and likely paper format. Use past papers to understand real historical exams, and predicted papers when you need additional full-length practice for an upcoming session.
