Criteria StrandsPro
A.1Coherence and logical development

A.2Organization and structure
Good
A.3Conciseness and relevance
Moderate
Criteria Feedback
- The student's exploration is clearly structured with an introduction, development, figures, and a conclusion.
- The line of argument is mostly easy to follow and the reader can see how the student moves from data to modelling.
- Relevant material is usually placed where it supports the main investigation.
- Some sections go beyond what the mathematics is actually showing and feel only loosely connected to the aim.
- A few graphics and discussion points interrupt the flow rather than strengthening it.
- The final discussion would be clearer if it stayed more tightly tied to the evidence from the models.

Criteria StrandsPro
B.1Mathematical language and notation
Moderate
B.2Multiple representations
Good
B.3Clarity and consistency
Moderate
Criteria Feedback
- The student uses some correct mathematical vocabulary, including terms such as amplitude, period, exponential growth, and piecewise functions.
- The student includes several representations, such as graphs, equations, and overlays, to help communicate their ideas.
- The student's variables are sometimes defined clearly when they introduce a new model.
- Some notation is inconsistent, especially when the student switches between symbols and time labels.
- A few mathematical terms are used imprecisely, which makes parts of the explanation harder to trust.
- Some graphs and equations are not presented with enough consistency to make the mathematics fully clear.
