IB Mathematics Analysis and Approaches (AA) HL Internal Assessment Example

Your work is clearly structured and easy to follow from the introduction through to the conclusion.

You use headings, a table of contents, and an appendix effectively to support readability.

The overall line of argument is coherent and the mathematical development mostly flows well.

Some sections become repetitive, especially where long formula displays or background explanations are repeated.

A few naming and labeling inconsistencies make it harder to track the different functions and regions.

The explanation of some transitions could be more concise and direct.

You use mathematical notation appropriately and mostly consistently, including integrals, functions, derivatives, and summation notation.

You include several useful representations such as tables, graphs, and diagrams to support your calculations.

Your working is usually clear enough that the reader can follow the mathematical steps.

Some notation is not fully precise, especially where widths, slopes, and derivative ideas are introduced.

A few labels and symbols are used inconsistently, which can slow down comprehension.

Some calculations would be easier to follow if you showed a little more intermediate working.
