IB Digital Society (DS) SL Internal Assessment Example

Your inquiry question is clear, evaluative, and tightly framed around a specific real-world example.

You connect the topic to relevant course ideas such as change and consumer choice.

The connection between the iPhone UI example and Malaysian purchase intention is only partially developed.

The economic context is still broad and does not always focus directly on UI as the key influence.

You discuss all three sources and identify the main claim or perspective of each one.

You make some useful judgments about why each source matters to the inquiry, especially where usability and design are linked to buying intention.

You show awareness of comparison and limitation by noticing when a source is one-sided or when another perspective would be useful.

Several parts of the discussion remain descriptive rather than deeply evaluative.

The usefulness of the sources for answering the Malaysian purchase-intention question is not consistently developed.

You do not always separate what a source claims from what can actually be inferred from it.

Author credibility, purpose, and potential bias are not explored in enough detail.
