A.1Inquiry Focus
Good
Criteria Feedback
- Your inquiry question is clear, researchable, and focused on both behavioural change and its psychological/social effects.
- You anchor the investigation in a specific real-world example rather than discussing gaming in a vague way.
- You identify several relevant course ideas and show an intention to connect them to the case study.
- The connection between the example and the broader topic needs to be tighter so the scope is fully clear.
- Some links to course concepts are stated too broadly and need more explanation.
- The conceptual framing would be stronger if you explicitly showed how each idea will be examined through the case study.

B.1Claims and perspectives
Good
Criteria Feedback
- You use three relevant academic sources and explain why each one matters for your inquiry.
- You identify key claims from the sources and support them with appropriate methodological and statistical details.
- You show awareness of important limitations such as self-report bias, cross-sectional design, and restricted data scope.
- The discussion is still more explanatory than comparative, so the different viewpoints in the sources are not fully developed.
- Some source commentary focuses on method and credibility more than on what each source’s perspective actually emphasizes or leaves out.
- The usefulness of each source is stated, but the tension between different claims and interpretations could be explored more deeply.
