IB Business Management SL Internal Assessment Example

The student sustains a clear link between the concept of change and Netflix’s password-sharing policy throughout the commentary.

The student connects the concept to strategic motives such as pricing, enforcement, investor pressure, and stakeholder reaction.

The student shows awareness that change has consequences for different groups, not just for Netflix itself.

The student revisits the concept in later sections rather than only defining it at the start.

The student's explanation is sometimes broader than the UK case, so the link to the specific market could be tighter.

At times the concept is described rather than used as a sharp analytical lens.

The conclusion would be stronger if it returned more explicitly to how the change affected UK subscription growth.

The student provides five relevant supporting documents, which is an appropriate range.

The student's sources include a useful mix of company material and an external perspective.

The documents are clearly connected to the policy change, financial context, and public reaction.

The student uses the documents to build context rather than listing them without purpose.

Much of the evidence is global rather than specifically UK-focused.

The documents do not give direct proof of the UK subscription effect the student is investigating.

The source list would be more useful if each document’s role in the argument were identified more clearly.
