A.3Methodology selection and justification
Poor
Criteria Feedback
- You state a clear interdisciplinary topic and make the investigation relevant to both biology and psychology.
- Your research question is explicit and researchable in principle.
- You attempt to justify a method rather than simply describing one.
- The focus stays too broad because the study moves between pheromone existence and general odour detection.
- Your method does not isolate pheromones well enough to answer the question directly.
- The justification for the chosen procedure needs to be tighter and more precise.

B.3Use of terminology and concepts
Moderate
Criteria Feedback
- You use a mostly relevant source base on pheromones, odour, and related biological and psychological ideas.
- You show a clear working knowledge of important concepts such as validity, reliability, and chi-square.
- You generally use terminology accurately and in context.
- Some sources are secondary, web-based, or not the strongest evidence for the claim you are making.
- You sometimes move too quickly from body odour findings to claims about pheromones.
- Several concepts are described accurately but not always integrated into a fully coherent explanation.
