Criteria Feedback
- The investigation communicates its topic clearly and sustains a purposeful psychological focus from the introduction onward.
- The research question is clearly stated and remains connected to the body of the essay and the final judgement.
- A relevant review-style method is used, drawing on several peer-reviewed empirical studies and showing some awareness of methodological issues.
- The methodology is not fully systematic, because the basis for selecting the six studies is not explained in enough detail.
- The research question is still quite broad, especially in the range of ages and forms of misinformation included.
- The work would be stronger if the link between source selection and the final line of argument were made more explicit.

B.2Use of terminology and concepts
Good
Criteria Feedback
- Psychology terminology is generally used accurately and with reasonable consistency.
- The essay demonstrates good knowledge of child eyewitness-memory research and relevant methodological concepts.
- Sources are usually applied in a relevant way to support the discussion of the research question.
- Some terminology is used imprecisely or interchangeably, especially around validity, reliability, and credibility.
- A few claims overstate what the sources can justify, particularly when generalising from sample characteristics to broad conclusions.
- The discussion would benefit from more consistent and precise application of the studies’ findings to the argument.
