Criteria Feedback
- Your investigation is clearly framed around a focused research question and a relevant debate, which gives the whole essay a strong sense of direction.
- You maintain clear signposting throughout, and the three-part analytical structure helps the reader follow your argument easily.
- Your method is mostly well chosen for the topic, using appropriate primary and secondary sources to support a rhetorical analysis.
- Your methodology would be stronger if you explained more explicitly how you selected examples and why these particular strategies were chosen.
- The scope of the topic is still fairly broad at times, so some links between the evidence and the specific focus could be sharper.
- A few sections lean slightly toward general political commentary rather than tightly controlled analysis of the research question.

Criteria Feedback
- You show clear understanding of rhetorical and political communication concepts and apply them in a controlled way.
- Your use of debate quotations is relevant and helps anchor your claims in the source material.
- You use terminology such as populism, hyperbole, ad hominem, and framing accurately and consistently.
- Some source references are more illustrative than deeply analysed, so the micro-level language evidence could be unpacked further.
- A few statistical or contextual claims would benefit from tighter evaluation and clearer connection to the exact point being made.
- Some conceptual distinctions, such as between exaggeration and hyperbole, could be made even sharper.
